Our Principles

HeDPAC will be guided by the following shared Principles between Africa and the Caribbean regions:

South-South collaboration is new cross regional initiative to forge partnership between Africa and the Caribbean regions to collectively address common health challenges and explore opportunities to achieve best health outcomes in order to accelerate the attainment of Universal Health Coverage

HeDPAC serve as a venue for partners to work around shared vision and priorities, promoting unity of purpose and voice and enhanced cross regional voice in global health and development governance.

HeDPAC will convene a platform to facilitate dialogue, knowledge and experiences exchange between countries, to engage, align objectives, strategies and resources, generating new knowledge and innovative solutions aimed at strengthening national efforts and facilitating capacity building and development in order to help countries to take concrete steps towards self-sufficiency in health
